Felling
Felling trees: expertise required!
There are various methods to fell a tree. Depending on the location and accessibility of the tree, it will be felled manually or mechanically.
If a tree stands in a 'difficult' location – surrounded by houses, garages, in the proximity of high tension wires,… - we use special climbing techniques. This reduces the risk of damage to a minimum.
If the tree is felled mechanically, we use a boom lift or ‘spider’ - for example if manual techniques endangers our personal safety.
If required we will deal with the waste and the tree trunk. We chip everything on site or chop larger branches for fire wood.
NOTE: In some cases a permit is mandatory for the felling of trees. Please contact the technical department of your municipality first.
